Silvana Lima, fechou a temporada em Sydney na Liderança voltando a elite do Surfe, com os melhores resultados durante a temporada, a vice-campea mundial em 2008, 2009, está voltando. Superando grandes nomes do Surfe durante a competição, assim, com estilo radical e progressivo de Silvana Lima a cearense conquistou a competição QS 6000 em Sydney.

Silvana Lima ainda forneceu uma intrevista a revista Liga Mundial de Surfe (WSL)

" Não consigo acreditar. A sensação é maravilhosa. Eu me senti confiante neste evento e as minhas pranchas estavam ótimas, acho que isto me ajudou a vencer. Ganhar este evento foi como vencer em Bells Beach. É o mesmo sentimento. Estou pronta para voltar ao CT, com certeza" - declarou Silvana durante a entrevista.

Isso mesmo conhecido como mineirinho, pelo apelido de seu irmão mineiro, assim é conhecido Adriano de Souza que consagrou-se como campeão no mundial de Surf, World Surf League (WSL).

Ele nasceu no Guaruja em uma família humilde, e seu irmão por ver o sonho do garoto arteiro, comprou sua primeira prancha, com apenas trinta reais brasileiros, o irmão de Adriano, vê o pequeno garoto chegar a elite do surf mundial.

A família ainda conta que colocou grades nas janelas da casa para que Adriano não pulasse mais, coisa que não adiantou muito para o garoto.

Adriano de Souza, o mineirinho se tornou campeão depois de uma grande batalha que passou, se tornando profissional aos 15 anos de idade.

PARABÉNS AO NOSSO GRANDE CAMPEÃO, Sim mais um Paulista coloca o Brasil em primeiro lugar no topo do mundo de surf.

Adriano, cada batalha até aí, foram gigantescas, você sabe e qualquer pessoa, também que quando temos um sonho e tentamos de todas as formas que ele aconteça, a maior vitória vem assim, na luta como sempre foi sua vida.

Adriano também disse que sua vitória seria dedicada ao Ricardinho que foi morto após uma discução em frente sua casa.

Naquela etapa do Circuito Mundial, eliminou Kelly Slater e chegou até às quartas de final. Foi justamente em 2012 que conseguiu seu melhor posicionamento no ranking, terminando com a 62ª colocação.
